A little bit about me…
Hi y’all, I’m Jill. I am a lover of Jesus and seeker of joy, trying to humbly and playfully find my way in a strange yet very familiar territory: writing. My husband is my best friend, and we make our home in a sweet little midcentury ranch in the heart of Nashville, Tennessee. I am privileged to be raising four precious kiddos - two girls and two boys (pinch me!) - and we are striving to nurture them into kind, God-fearing individuals. My whole world consists of chores and schooling - a more-than-worthy sacrifice in this season - but the ache of my heart is to pour it out onto paper, either through art or writing. Both of these outlets have been a part of my DNA since childhood. I studied art in college and enjoyed writing novels and songs as a child, but now I’m giving writing a little more room to grow in my life. My grammar is rusty and my thoughts sometimes wander, so I ask for your grace along the way. Expect first draft level copy! I hope you find unfiltered, authentic thoughts here - the good, bad, and the honest - and hopefully a lot of light along the way. Feel free to reach out and respond, I love to share ideas. Thank you for reading, and may God always be glorified in this space.
